We have a 95 300 TDi ES - Auto.
We are having problems with our cental locking & alarm - neither work!
The keyfobs won't operate the central locking at all (although a red light comes on on the keyfob and we have changed the batteries just in case). If you put the key in the drivers door it only opens the drivers door - each door has to be opened individually. If you open any door other than the drivers 1st then the indicators flash, but no alarm sounds.
On investigation we seem to have 2 alarm boxes, so assume someone has been messing around with it in the past.
We understand there is a sequence you can do to re-sinc the keyfobs & doors???????, but think there must be something more complicated than that wrong, otherwise wouldn't the central locking still work when using the drivers door??
Has anyone else had this problem, any suggestions would be much appreciated.
