I have searched, and used that info to remove centre console, replace bias plate, and was attacking the seized diff lock - NOW I'm STUCK!!!

I have removed the tf box lever housing and freed up the lever and greased it all up, so its now wiggling. I have tried the 13mm nut on the box, and the light comes on, but now its all back together, the bloody thing won't move.

Has anyone got any ideas, is it F*****d, or have I F*****d up somehwere?????

Cheers in advance.

Hi mart, thanks for replying. It has small amount of forward/back movement, but still wont go over to the left.

Hope that helps

a lot of landrovers you have to put it in gear and lift the clutch slightly as you put a bit of pressure on the hi/lo lever for it to engage,if not and it worked before you put centre console back in it must be something to do with your linkage or maybe something off the centre console has caught it as youve refitted it

Cheers again Mart. The Hi/Lo was working before but very stiff, the diff lock was completely seized. I haven't put centre console back in yet.

I have disconnected the lever and housing and freed it up and greased it, i have checked it by turning the 13mm on the box and it does turn both ways and the light does comeon/off.

I have now refitted the lever, to the linkages and this is where my problem is I think, just not sure whats not right, as the hi lo is still stiff, and the diff lock wont go to the left.

Confuddled, think I best go and have a couple of thinking juices and have a go tomorrow.

thanks for the help

steve
