CD Autochanger

Hi...I've recently bought a 2002 Freelander td4, but the cd autochanger is missing...it's fitted with a C42 radio cassette player and wondered which autochangers are compatible with this unit...looks like it was originally fitted under the drivers seat as there are a couple of plugged wires not connected to anything.....any help appreciated....

HI dave

Try looking right up under the passenger seat this is where it is in my Dads whereas mine was on the floor under passenger seat held in place with velcro There are spare plugs and wires under both seats for heated seats etc

not all C42 head units came with a multichanger. Should you wish to buy an original factory spec item, which fits really easily, and works with the C42, the part no is HSTC53117, it cost me £67 inc. VAT and postage from Duckworths, 01673 844722.
