CCU problems with new tailgate window mechanism

Help!

I have fitted new rear window mechanism on my 3 door 2001 TD4. Now the window goes up and down by increments of about an inch and washer/wiper doesn't work and rear window heater doesn't work. If power is taken direct to new motor the window works fine. Local reputable second hand land rover specialists can't trace fault. Everyone seems to agree the problem lies with CCU ,but no one knows how to solve it. People have tried to recalibrate, and that hasn't helped.

Again, Help!

If I remember rightly there is a switch in the door handle or the window mech. which drops the window an inch to allow the door to open. Whilst the window is not fully closed the wipers, washers and heated screen dont work. Check this switch is working and wired correctly.
 
I pull my hair out over on a shooting forum when we get posts like these (yes I'm nearly bald)
