Whilst looking for a replacement door for my FL1 (some maggot has key'd it in the past), I picked up a Land Rover head unit from an 03 plate FL1. Its the single CD XQE000160PMA unit and is in good working order. My 52 plate TD4 SE has the original Land Rover single cassette head unit (and multichanger), remote controls on stalk by steering wheel). I thought I could swap the head units round but the later head unit has different connections. Is there a lead available, or has anyone else made this work ? I'd like to retain the multichanger and the remote controls.

Thanks !

You can get an adaptor from the I assume round pin square connector to the ISO connectors on the new head unit - if it is the round pin then search on quadlock to ISO on eBay etc.

However it is not CD change compatible

If the adaptor has the correct number of leads the steering wheel remote will still work
