Is there any caravanners amongst us, with whom to exchange chit chat and ideas and experience of sites etc., i did once suggest a camping/caravanning forum.

Carravans are fine, its just the people that tow them when i'm following them ( How do you get to your destination at 33 MPH) and the gits that used to pull out in front of me with that look of "Its a land rover therefore its going slow." when i used to tow them.

Nick.

Just don't get caravans. Dragging a small house around (at seemingly ridiculously slow speed), parking it up with skwillions of others on a site full o' (generally) sad middle aged 'Brits', faffing about getting it level, hooking up all the services & that. Seems a reet palava t'go onollody. Just don't get it!

But I guess that's like some folks don't 'get' Landies. Bluddy 'ell, I'm feeling mellow t'nite!

caravans are an easy and ideal way to wind up lots of people while listening to your favorite radio 2 DJ. and you can sleep in them before setting off the following day to upset even more people

I know some one who (and so wish it was'nt my dad) will not settle untill its perfect. Now i like a level bed however one (dont see him often) visit the truck pulls up and then nothing, the dogs are looking at each other, then at the door so i go to look for him and he's actually under the back off my 300 Discovery measuring the tow hitch height, stands up and pronounces my factory fit tow hitch illegal according to eu fguidlines.
Fortunatly i had no gun but have saved up since just in case.

Ive towed caravans for years , firstly with my 300tdi disco , which is really underpowered but tows well. For the last few years ive been towing with my p38 4.6 vogue, which makes relaxed towing and at more than 33mph lol.
