Afternoon all. Not sure if there are a lot of users on here from West Sussex - but those of you who are - does anyone know of any potential places to store my landy? It's insured, and will be used maybe a couple of times a month... But I have no garage and don't want it sat out on the street 24/7. Somewhere like an industrial unit or a barn I could keep it locked up in would be great... anyone else keep theirs anywhere like this? Any ideas?! Don't suppose there's any friendly farmers on here is there?! :D
 
you pay gumtree £40 a month? that's alright... is it sat outside though? I'd quite like somewhere undercover

just realised you mean the website?! lol
 
lol. yeah I suppose it does sound a bit dodgy. maybe I should have added SECURE into my original post?! I'd presume wherever people would leave their cars they would be secure and not stupid enough to leave them where they could be stolen easily?

jesus christ sorry i spoke... won't be back on here in a hurry. I foolishly though this might be a friendly forum with a few people wanting to put forward some IDEAS of places to try.

You could have just said 'this sounds a bit dodgy' and told others NOT to post exactly where they keep their cars rather than going straight in and labeling me a thief.
 
Pleased he's gone. Obviously a car thief. You should be a detective with those kind of skills. He'll be asking wheres the best place to keep your car keys next. :cool:
 
thats not absolutely confirmed,... and you cant really jump to conclusions straight away...
could be a genuine person. And being told to look on gumtree is just a basic way of showing garages for rent etc.

I found my place on gumtree that i keep my l200 in, its a secured compound along with 20 other cars. Quite handy little place. I went and inspected it and we worked out a deal.

Theres lots of places offering similar things
 
lol... if any budding detectives would have bothered to look at my profile they probably could have worked out that I know newson... and a hilarious fellow he is too!!!

I've had no luck finding anywhere - so she might be going up for sale soon - OR I might just keep it on the road! Am having a bit of a dilemma!
 
I can only find single garages to rent so far... and she's too big to fit in a normal garage!!!

Plus would insurance be happy to cover me keeping it away from home in a random garage?
