Hi ive brought a bottle of car-go seal up ceramic sealer stuff for the cooling system in my 4.6 hse. Its not loosing water or over heating, but thought it would be a good idea to add it anyway even though the heads have been done. The instructions are a little vage, can anyone shed light on the best way to add this stuff as i know if you do it wrong then it wont work. I know you have to flush system before adding it.

As Data says. But if you must. Drain ALL antifreeze and flush out cooling system completely. Refill with clean water and add Irontite run for recommended period and flush out again completely. Refill with water antifreeze mixture. Compounds in some antifreeze can react with Irontite and block your rad or heater matrix.

Quite agree Keith. BUT if someone decides against advice to do it, better they know the correct method.

Completely aggree Tony & TBH I CAN see where the OP is comin from "If its gone once it'll go again"....

He'll be drivin along starin at the Temp gaugr & not the speedo... Thats just human nature.

I think the way the OP should go here is.. "TRUST THE REPAIRER" shuvin a load of Irontite thru it COULD cause even more problems (Blocked rads & Sludge ect)

V8hotrodboy, DON'T DO IT.. if it does "Go wrong" again it 6 months just take it back to the "Repairer" & say "Oi its done it again, FIX IT" if he finds a load of Irontite in there he'll just shuv the blame on to you & make yer pay AGAIN!!!!

got to say I agree if the job was done right it will be ok but if they find a reason to blame you bingo remember the head gaskets dont wear out they get fooked by overheating most times and putting a load of gunk in the cooling system could cause more than it cures. I know I did all that sh*te then did the job properly
