Can't get horn to work

Hi guys , just purchased a land rover freelander for a great price . It's an old one , a 2001 2.0d . The horn is not working . The fuse is good and horns work as I've checked them . I've got a feeling it's the rotary coupler . What do you guys think ? Anyone had this issue before ? Cheers Steve

have you cleaned the earth on the horn

I haven't done that no . I'll try that tomorrow.
I've ordered a rotary coupler I've got a feeling it's that .
