Cant find the inertia switch

Can someone help me locate this.. after 2 days I can't find it and its not where the manual says. Please see pics.

Should be where those two bolts are on the firewall abeam the turbo, neglect those pipes around it in the pic, those are retrofitted... seems that the PO bypassed it or relocated it. If it was the cause of your problem the hazards would have came on with ignition on 2... aamof what made you search that switch now? .... the fuel pump is completely silent when you turn ignition on or what?

Thankyou for your reply. Yes the hazards do come on constantly. I don't have that switch on the back firewall and I can't locate it anywhere. The bracket is on there but like you said it looks like the original owner may have moved it. Thankyou.
 
Yes the hazards do come on constantly.

If the pump is silent too then it seems that the circuit of the inertia switch is interrupted, search for a thin loom which comes out from beneath the fusebox toward that area, maybe it's hanging there... if you don't find it remove relay R9 and bridge the perpendicular cavities(where the contact goes) with a piece of wire, that will emulate the closed switch, then crank it for test
