Hi all. Got an issue with my central locking system. I can lock and unlock all doors with fob and button inside the car, I can also unlock all doors with key but it will only lock driver door, no other one. Can someone give some advice please? I have bought brand new driver's lock and it's still the same.

Hi. There is a switch within the actuator which should send an earth input to the BCU to activate the central lock when then key is turned to lock(the same for unlock too) , as long as the actuator assy is ruled out it means the problem is with the circuit between the latch and the BCU, make sure that the loom is not chaffed where it enters the door, if no visible issue there(it's about a blue/green trace wire) you'll have to find where is the interruption on that particular path... if you are handy with electrics and you have multimeter and RAVE i'll tell you where to check.

if the wiring is intact between the door and body go to C0744 pin 5 and give earth with a wire into the connector somehow(without unpluggng it) ... if the doors will lock then it means the problem is between this connector and the latch

Let's hope it's a wiring issue at a reachable place cos the worst scenario is to be a BCU issue or a wiring issue between C0744 and the BCU which is untraceable. Good luck

And what about checking bcu itself? In RAVE there is a pin 16 about CDL door lock. I hope it's not that far and that complicated. I've got a spare bcu but I've heard it's a big job to swap them and re-connect everything.

Your problem has nothing to do with C0660 pin 16 cos that's the input from the dash switch, it's about the driver's door lock earth input from latch to C0660 pin 5 cos as you said all the other commands are working so that particular circuit is more suspect at this point... i've tried to find the easyest way to isolate the fault in my first post so better do that first... if that fails you can give an earth into C0660 - 5 (see RAVE - Electrical library - connector views) and if the doors dont lock then you know it's the BCU, the swap is not physically complicated after the glovebox was removed but needs complex programming with dedicated tester

I've got the newest Nanocom on me so I would just need some advice I guess. I will try your suggestion first and let you know later on. Thanks again ,much appreciated

I'll tell you what to do in case it's the BCU(seems quite unlikely at this point), be handy and use a thin wire or hooked to a needle as to insert the earth into those plugs from behind in the connector without unplugging anything and also concentrate to not mix the pins where you give it, it must be blue/green trace(UG) wire

In addition to the previous post, to make you clear what's going on if you watch the schemes i edited you see that the lock command from the door switch is an earth from C0441-5 to C0441-1 (UG wire) which goes throug C0774-5(shown in my first reply) to BCU C0660-5 and from the symptom you described this command doesnt reach the BCU... or if it gets there then the BCU is the problem.

Thank you for your help again!!! It's sorted now, the wire, green/blue was cracked between door and the connector. A bit of soldering and everything is working as it should !!
