So, I’ve got a 110 double cab and have some aspirations to make it look a little more chunky. Now I’m not renowned for having oil on my fingers but can use a screwdriver. But can I find the thing I want, no, and it’s starting so frustrate me to the point I just want to eBay the motor. Right, I want to mount the spare wheel against the back of the double cab, with the nice part of the wheel facing out to the rear. I currently have a pin that holds the original boost wheel in place with a plate but is not long enough to mount anyway other than back to front which looks awful. I want to replace whe wheels with 18x8 sawtooth and add the Bison 3” roll cage which shows the wheel mounted in the way I am after. Ideally, I want to. Use the locking wheel nut and have a plate with three bolts for example to achieve this. Does anyone know what I am talking about, any pointers would be genuinely appreciated. Link for visual below:

I had wheel mount for rear door on my defender. It was a square plate that fitted inside the door, 3 long pins that went through holes in door, with another plate outside that bolted to the inside plate. There is a weakness in rear windows (break in trim) that sometimes the windôw would explode, so I bolted it on my bonnet. It came with the truck from new

There was a discussion in the 101military forum here about the brace to fit the type that goes on the rear side of the vehicle
