cannot adjust seat rake

My 2002 discovery 2 has manual seats but the drivers seat rake wheel is just spinning freely and will not wind back up.
This is causing severe back pain on long jorneys.
Is this an easy fix or am I going to have to try and find another seat

Easy fix? That depends on what is wrong, maybe as simple as the adjusting cable becoming detached at one end, so u will have to remove what ever is in the way for a look-see.

Found the problem, pulled the wheel to see how they come off but never expected it to be so brittle that it fell apart in my hand, have now got a shifter for adjusting seat till I can source a new wheel, thanks again
