Can we have a Sin Bin??

Ere Mods, I bin thinking...........
We get a few characters pop up on here that cause a few probs etc.
Rather than banning anyone, why not have a 'Sin Bin' section where they get put for awhile?
They have to stay in there, unable to post and we can get a word in edgeways in the meantime.
May I suggest neale and D2 COM as the first guinea pigs for a trial run??

But it's a bit like 'separating the wheat from the chaff' or more to the point the 'complete fookin nobs from the usual banter'.

at what point does banter become sin bin?

i rekon it gonna av t be left as is or itll tonn in t a very dull forum wi any bugger wi any crac locked in the sin bin,n all the sensible boring bastids postin fukin boring stuff!

Not the idea, just a place for volatile peeps to cool off for ten mins or so

we already do, Boomer - The Mods can do a temporary ban - for a day, week etc. The banned can still look at the forum as a guest, but cannot sign in to post. If you remember there was a bit of this a year or two ago.

I think it's a great idea.....unfortunately some times people get slightly the wrong end of the stick and can be a little on the agressive side for some people....however, for others swearing and the like is just banter......tricky !

As another thought you already have a warning on the anything goes section so i suppose if the topic that is being discussed is going wayward or it should be moved there by choice or the one that is mahatma... as well as the fact that most of the girls n guys on here are fairly self regulating......................i wish my fingers worked !!!!!!

True but i reckon the ones its intended for are easy enuff to distinguish

Personally i don't have a problem with the goings on....we all have our own choice and we don't have to read it or reply to it but it would be nice to be able to deal with the......er.....nair-do-well space cadets as generally we are a happy helpfull bunch who just like a giggle
