Can these mounts be removed?

I have removed the 2 seats from the boot, as I never used them, and to get a bit extra space.

So my question is, can the actual mounts be removed easily, ie Un-bolted, or are they welded in?

Just wondered if anyone knows before I try and remove all of the boot trim to get at them.

rip out the interiour hack the brackets off or unbolt and board out with sound proofing.

They are bolted in.

Thanks, I did think they would be bolted, as didnt want to cut them off, if I could actually unbolt them, as then I can re-use them, if I ever needed more seats.

Will have a look at removing the trim at the weekend then.

I ground mine off and built in some boxes and a large boot drawer

They come out no trouble took about an hour, all the bits are reusable, put them in a plastic bag with the seats, stored them in the attic for safe keeping

you will need to remove the speakers and the surrounding panel to make removing the main panel easier, just get a claw hammer and prise out all the plastic prongs they are about 1.5 inches long

Yep, have now done it, all removed, took around 30mins for both sides, so again, thanks for the help.

Just didn;t want to start pulling off the trim to find out they are welded on, as then I could have just cut them off and saved a lot of hassle, but now all bagged up with my seats in the loft

Sell them on Ebay they seem to fetch at least £100 - £150, you could use the money to Get your self some extra bling to go on the landy.

mmm, interesting, does anyone fancy a set of leather seats for the boot - all fittings ect included
