Can someone name this bit of my 2.5n/a engine please?

Greetings chaps. You may laugh, but I'm no mechanic. :) I replaced the washers on the bolts at the top of the bits of the engine that I've pointed out on my image below with copper ones because they were leaking (apparently). (not an image of my engine, it's a bit dark for me to take a photo, so I found one of someone else's engine (defunct by all accounts). I think they're the diesel injectors, which worries me. I ask because my girlfriend took the landy to a local garage today to get a replacement rubber mounting, and they pointed out that they thought there was oil leaking from them, so they gave her 8 copper washers for free. I've now fitted them, but I can't get my torque wrench in there underneath the big black pipes that in the picture are above the cylinder head, but are actually further down on my engine. Let alone that, I can't figure out the exact name to get the torque wrench setting! Any advice appreciated for someone bumbling their way through trying to bring a little TLC to the old girl ;)

That is the fuel spill rail that runs across the top of your injectors and returns any fuel that isnt injected (usually because the fuel pump provides a more than adequate amount) back into the fuel filter to join the circulation system again. The copper washers sit between the bolt and the injector, on either side of the little circular bit connected to the spill pipe. They dont need over tightening, certainly not with a torque wrench.

That sets my mind at ease :) Thanks for that!

I've already done the work, and I think they're gonna be tight enough now, although I couldn't get the bolt out of one of the circular bits, so only managed to get one new washer underneath it, I guess the other one will just have to stay :)

Yes, I guess that is one advantage of her having my landy all day, pretending it's hers, while I go to work in my Laguna ;)
