OK, I dont need the technical detail but I need to buy some HD springs for my Landy. Gemsdad gave me some links to those, so thats sorted.

It now seems I need other bits to fit with them.

This is because I am fitting a winch bumper which is very heavy and after that a winch.

Can someone let me have a list of what I need please. And links to them if you are feeling very kind so I can do some shopping.

Its a 200tdi Defender 90 which is standard at the moment.

you need springs and a landrover they fit on

As you never actually have a vehicle to go anywhere in :p:p:p I will choose to ignore that advice.

And should your engine ever run :p:p I believe that other parts are needed, just fitting springs will cause said vehicle to bounce down the road. Of course given the weight of your vehicle (after home made additions) it could just sink into the ground.

Ahem I have a discovery as well as a small run about car too ;) and the V8 has been living for months now :p Finally fires up! - YouTube

You believe other parts are needed such as? The spring retainers that should already be there alongside shocks that shouldn't need changing as its just HD replacements instead of a lift ;) I'm still running standard shocks with HD springs and it feels fine

not if you get springs that are suitable to take weight but you will be better getting shockers to suit ,britpart yellow hd springs and gas shockers are very good and reasonably priced

why you need heavy duty on a 90? ride could be very hard and pain full, the spine can take a pounding ad really bother you. Look at 110 women

Because I have bought it a new winch bumper and intend to also buy it a winch. Apparently that will make the front end dig into the ground or something when laning.

The winch bumper alone took me and daughter to lift it out of the back of the Landy

off course they are they are the biggest wholesaler for lr pats the trade use, they do sell some **** pattern parts but also genuine and very good other make parts too, most of your genuine or oe parts are supplied through them id think

I wouldn't get HD sue, I will be changing to medium duty when I can afford to. HD just make it a proper bone shaker ;)

OK, thanks :D

Didn't know there was such a thing. Off to search some more :D Dont suppose you have a link

then go for 2" over in standard strength for the front drop and still retain a nicer ride than hd, might want to add stiffer shocks as well, or you add air bags to the same coils , and stiffer shocks
