Can i just slap Waxoyl on everywhere?

Done a search and it hasn't come up with much.

After going to halfrauds tonight for a new bulb. And came out with 4new bulbs, 1inline fuse holder and a can of Waxoyl.

It is the paint on stuff.
My chassis is already 'spray galved' with about 20 cans that magically appeared in my boot .

Could i just pressure was the chassis, and slap it on everywhere? Obviously missing the linkages and moving stuff.

The spray stuff said it prevents/fixes rust. But on this can it doesn't say that. Will it still do that?

Before putting the spray galv on. I found a wire wheel for my grinder and gave all the chassis a good clean down.

Your best removing and "fixing" the rust first then apply waxoyl. If you just paint it over it'll look really smart but could still allow the rust to fester and cause a whole world of pain in a couple of years..

waxoils more for inside the chassis and doors etc it doesnt set hard so will wash off any exposed areas

What would be best for the chassis and stuff then?

No no, cavity wax for inside sills, rear x member and maybe chassis. That assumes they are not rusted to phuk inside. Then waxoyl underneath but do the bodywork underneath before the chassis. Chassis are usually ok but body rots. Waxoyl doesnt fix rust it hides it for unwilling buyers and those who wish to cut a corner. Rust gotta be removed or treated first. If you wax inside chassis it will not be weldable if it needs repairing; it will just catch fire.

There is a nice hole in my chassis where a previous 'repair' has fallen off. So that will be fixed and made sound.
What would you suggest for chassis then?

Dinitrol ML3125 cavity wax, google dinitrol, or rejel!

spray galv on rusty painted chassis? :doh: it's meant to be done to a nice clean fresh metal or it's useless

Pretty sure that i said i 'aquired' a wire wheel that goes on my grinder. So the chassis was scrubbed and sprayed bit by bit.
