Just a quick one, the disco failed its mot last month, welding, brake lines and disks so ive had the boot floor out painted chassis etc, new side and back rails, replaced brake pipes front to rear and across rear axle now today i want to put the fuel tank back in, start her up, then spin it around on my drive to do the front brake pipes and hoses. Problem is that the brake system is still empty, can i still get her going and spin round slowly using only gears and no brakes? Will anything be damaged i.e master cylinder?

Burn it.

Slowly.

Lol, ye i'll do that then. I'll glue my foot to the right hand side of the footwell so i cant get to the brake. Thanks

Drop her into low range so you have greater control and use the engine to brake her.
Should be fine as long as you're slow and steady.
