CAN bus help please

Hi there,

I recently bought a CANM8-NAV to get access to a couple of things like a 12v lights trigger and reversing wires for my new head unit.

The only thing is to I need to wire it into one of the many CAN bus connections. I've done a little reading and theres apparently one behind the glove box but the only thing there seems to be high amp wires into and out of the fuse box. Also near the drivers feet but I haven't a clue where to start with that.

Can anyone point me in the right direction where and how I might easily splice into the bus? Ideally somewhere fairly near the stereo too?

Diagnostic connector.

Drivers footwell , A post side. Look under the dash and you'll see a trapezium shaped connector. Thats your diagnostic plug.

It contains hs can high and low, ms can high and low.
