just wondering if anyone could help me. is it possible to pump bottled gas from the bottle into lpg tank on an off road vehicle? a mate of mine was saying it is possible and was curious if this was right or not. if this is true is lpg from the petrol station the same as propane or butane from the bottle or is it just that you can use either of the 3 gases to fuel an offroad vehicle with the same effect and would there need to be any modifications to run on bottled gas rather than lpg from the petrol station? hope i wrote that so it makes sense:). also what are some good makes of lpg conversions and which are the ones to avoid. thanks in advance any information you can give me is gratefully recieved

yep you can ..you can run the red bottle neat but it is best to mix it 50/50 is ideal but you need to run 60/40 one way in the summer and the other in the winter cant remember wich way round tho lol ......

many thanks for the replys. does any body know where i could get the pump and fittings to pump the gas by any chance. if anybody has pumped their own lpg in the past it would be great to get any recomendations of good equipment from someone with experience.
