Can anybody tell me how to stop my dashboard rattling?!

Hi everyone,

I have recently bought a freelander 2000 1.8, and have found that my dash board seems to rattle when I am accelerating...this stops after I reach a steady speed. Does anyone know what this is, and how it can be rectified?

Any advice gratefully recieved...!

Its probably a combination of your engine being on, and moving.....

Look at tyres, diff mounts, propshaft bearings, even plug leads may help....

petrol, matches - torch it and claim on the insurance

sell it ...

yeah definatley burn it and get a PROPER LANDROVER

Well thanks everyone for all the helpful tips...ha ha ha.

Can't really sell at the moment, I'm going to take it back to dealer where I bought it as have a warrenty...just wanted to be armed with some suggestions for him. I'll have to see what happens.

Do any of you actually like freelanders, just out of curiosity?!!!!!

Yep, I'm daft enough to love me GL, but then I'm used to the rippin the other Twots on here give out...filter through it though, and its still just abuse.....
