Can any help please.....

Iam off to look at a 96 300 TDI ES this morning can anyone tell what the spec should be , its got leather ,A/C , Sunroof , etc.. but no mention of electric seats etc if someone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful .

I think some "ES" models have electric leather seats similar to Classic Range Rover seats as mine has and some have leather Discovery style seats. All should have sunroofs (which all leak), Aircon, ABS Brakes and the wheels should be Blackish centres with a polished or silver rim as standard. Some seem to have wheelarch trims and some don't.
Should have driving lamps and may have a heated front screen.

Make sure the ABS light comes on and then goes out once you reach 5mph or over.

some of the ES dont have electric seats but are still leather. you should also get cruise control, electric sunroofs,air con, front fogs,alloys and stereo with a cd changer under the seat. you will probably find that the sunroofs leak or stick, cruise control wont work and the air con also needs gassing but dont forget that on any discovery even on an ES you dont always get a boot floor or inner wings!! hope the one you are looking at is a good one. this is why we all love the discovery!

The more electric toys it has the more you'll be spending the weekend trying to fix em. Or you'l just accept that they don't work and stop worrying about it. If stuff doesn't work use it as a bargaining point but don't let it ruin your day.

my sunroofs don't leak.. the back one sticks though

my cruise doesn't work.. the pumps probably knackered but I can't be assed sorting that out

check all the normal landrover stuff before you worry about toys.. except the leccy seats.. if they don't work walk away cos there are plenty other good uns out there don't bother wiht one that neds urgent work to be safe and comfy

I think the leccy seats are the only thing that does work with mine!!

mine work but to make the drivers seat back go back and fore you have to take the switch out and move it around.. luckily i'm the only person allowed to drive it so now I have it where I want it it doesn't matter..

Did not get this one , to scruffy....
