Can an idiot bleed a clutch?

Yep, the idiots me and the clutch has just been replaced along with new slave/master. Very juddery in 1st/2nd when warm and occasionally difficult to get into all gears. It's becoming a bit of a pain to drive, specially in slow moving traffic etc. Clutch was all lubed up fine and I've lubed up the external slave/master bits and the in/out rod bearing bit. One of the gear linkage bars has some slight play and is about to be replaced, that may cause the gear selecting problems but would it cause the juddering?

From general searching around it seems bleeding the new clutch is a possible solution? But can an idiot bleed a clutch!?

It's not really possible to bleed the 1.8 clutch as it's a sealed system. Clutch judder is normally associated with a dry release bearing slide or sticking splines. It can also be caused by a damaged flywheel friction surface or fauly cover or driven plate and sometimes worn or soft lower tie bar bushes ;)

Ok cheers Nodge, so it shouldn't be the drive bearing or splines because that's all been lubed up. Mechanic was clued up with all that. So I'm guessing and hoping the soft lower tie bar bushes or driven plate (whatever they are) maybe a lot cheaper than anything to do with any flywheel problems?
