can´t change gear

So we just took our Disco to the garage because changing gear is impossible, the handbrake sticks on, the windscreen wipers don´t work properly...
The bloke from the garage reckons it could be clutch or the hydraulics, thats why it´s crunchy when we change gear or it doesn´t go in gear at all...

Do you have an idea how much that would cost in the end?

OUCH you can but another half decent disco for that!!!!

So the bloke from the garage rang me today and he said it´s not the gearbox and not the clutch, but a leak (don´t ask me now what leaked )... But he fixed it, but oil in the gearbox... and next week he´s gonna clean out and adjust the handbreak...
And it didn´t cost 1k, thank God for that .

Oh, and it´s a 1992 2.5 tdi landi...
