Most of the kits seem to come with the belt, tensioner , crank pulley and gasket. Got mine from lrdirect about 60 notes.

Hi Dan,

If you are replacing the idler stud be careful of the torque you use.

Will do bud cheers!
Well managed to get the bottom pulley out what a ba***rd that was lol!
Didn't manage to get the belt kit today though but did remove the pushrods and they are definitely bent, they been changed now and hopefully belt will be on Monday and then just hope there is no other damage!

Here's the rods

Does anybody know about a shim that the pushrod sits in? I've just been told that if you don't pull the rods out in a specific way the shins drop down into the sump! Is this correct?
Also what's the best way to check if there still there?
Cheers Dan

Hi Dan,

Good news, Glad to hear you got it back running all OK.

Just had a look at LRS site, they are selling front discs and pads for Disco 1 for 358 quid. might order two sets:D

Most stuff pretty cheap though

Hahaha I might buy a set just incase I get a disco lol, and not sure think it was probably just down to been needed and I think maybe done some wading before as it was full of mud inside the cover! And I went with the dayco/britpart kit just goner keep an eye on it to see if she lasts!
I thought I'd dropped a bollock or a valve as when I started her from cold was a little stuterry but I tweeked the pump timing slightly and now it's perfect!
I'll keep you posted on how it all lasts or if it dosent lol

Cheers Dan
