Is it possible to get just the valve cover membrane for a 2.2 TD4 Freelander 2 (2010) without buying an entire Cam cover?

What part are you referring to? There's a plastic head cover, which forms part of the crankcase ventilation assembly.
This is sealed to the upper head cover with elastomer gaskets.

It's the rubber diaphragm under the cap at the right hand side of the valve cover that I believe is part of the PCV valve. All attached pipes and hoses are good, the rubber diaphragm has a small linear hole as though it has been punctured. I can find an entire valve cover for £150, or a PCV service kit (that doesn't include the rubber diaphragm I need) for £90, but I really just need to locate the diaphragm as can be found for most other vehicles for around £10. I tried to add a picture but it wouldn't work and I'm not very interwebs savvy.

According to the LR service manual, parts for the PVC system aren't available separately, or even serviceable. The manual says that if any part of the PVC system is faulty, a new top cover will need to be installed.

Oh and the forum is currently preventing loads of members from posting pictures. Apparently the admin team are looking into the issue.
