Can anyone help! I have a discovery 2 td5 2001 (pre facefift), my heaters have packed up in the cabin. They were working on setting 3 and 4 unroll last week. I was told it was the resistor pack that had gone, however I looked up one for her and can't find it? Plenty of motors though. Is it build into the motor unlike the facelifts where it's a pack separate? Or is it part of the switch on the dash? Thanks for reading, Dawn.

Hi, is it with digital aircon or just the classic heater with knobs?
It's the classic heater knobs, I thing it's to do with the switch as i get it to fire up on setting 4 today when i messed about with the leaver. It's non air con, thanks for your reply sierrafery

Then the resistor pack is a good start cos on 4 it's bypassed and only then the blower gets direct feed from the switch, part number STC3133, search it by that cos it's often confused with the power transistor used for aircon which gives the same symptoms, ... exacty as they confused it in the following video too cos that's a power transistor not a resistor pack ... though it is aprox in the same location like the transistor so remove the glove box and you'll have to find it

Thats great thanks alot for your help, how can i get my hands on rave? Have been seeing people talking about it on here, I did look it up but it was deer
Also I think the control switch is faulty and not making a good contact, if i wiggle it I can get the blower to work but will keep going off then I hit a bump
