C clip and bracket slave cylinder cluth

I replaced the clutch master, slave cylinder and bracket on my FL 1.8 (1998). When I put finally the C clip on the slave cylinder It all looked as it should. Al tough I am a little unsure about the the plastic c clip that holds the whole thing in place. looks not very solid. Does anyone has ever had problems with this (like slave cylinder falling out the bracket)?

not usually a problem unless the bracket is bent, which is down to lack of lubrication where clutch actuating arm enters bell housing.

mine broke without warning almost 2 years ago,
bracket was bent and rusted ended up ripping the metal rod out of the cylinder and clutch pedal on the flor,
not good at 1am after a 8 hour shift and 20km from home

Looks a bit flimsy for sure but seems to work!
