Heat gun makes it look like new and lasts a long time.

just be carefull round the lights and fuel filler:eek:

You can buy 5L of wd40 with a spray bottle cheap on e bay. Good fer cleaning. :)

Hi. The back end of my 2002 TD4 was grey when I bought it. I've tried a few products all were short lived, looked fantastic for the first few weeks. Then a dealer friend told me to try Forever Black, 8 months later still looks like new, highly recommend. Malcolm.

Hi

What was the outcome using the forever black dye kit? My bumpers and wheel arches have been heat gunned by the previous owner and now look terrible, so was wondering if the forever black dye kit works before I go down the route of having all the external trim painted or replaced.

Again, boiled linseed oil for me, tried all manner of products in the past and most have disappointed, makes the roof on the 3 door look great as well.

Be careful with boiled linseed oil. Rags with boiled linseed oil on can self ignite. Leave them in a bucket of water when finished.

I've used this on mine and it works and is easy to do. It comes with a cleaner solution to use first then apply the forever black, normally needs 2/3 coats to blend in good.
