One of the other small but annoying jobs to be done. Basically on high volume the drivers side passenger door speaker makes a buzzy/sparky sound? Anyone had this before?
Has anyone replaced the speaker or amp (not sure which one is faulty or how to check/test) before, and if so was it easy to do?
How do I get the door panel off?

I do have rave, but my pc is not working, hence doing everything from my iPod . Can someone tell me if there is a PDF of rave which i can download directly from a link?

I have a similar problem Canyon - my front tweeter buzzes occasionally - turn radio off and on again and it goes away for a couple of minutes then returns. The all of a sudden it doesn't come back....
Confused

Speaker coil shot in both cases. Magictiny, yours is acting up when it warms up but same problem basically. In the old days you could get it rewound, now probably cheaper just to get another off a breakers. Door pad easy peasy to remove, just watch for the "hidden" screw under the tweeter cover (front pad obviously, no such problem for rears). Then there are the three obvious screws, 2 in the door pull handle and one in the release. After that about 20 snap-locks around the perimeter which you pull out. Don't yank the pad away though as wires to the speakers still attached so once its off reach behind and unplug first.

Worth picking up a bag of snap-locks just to replace the ones that get buggered in the process or you'll have rattles.
