Disco 2 Buzzing behind dashboard

Noticed this for the first time today... when I started the landrover there was a buzzing noise (a bit like a fan running) from behind the headlamp adjust control on the dashboard.

Turned the engine off and the noise stopped. Turned the key to position 2 and it starts up again.

Any ideas whether thats normal or whether something is playing up? Cant work out what would be behind there? Will try and have a look behind the panel later on today but hoping someone might know!

iirc it is the temperature sensor , behind a slot like opening.

There have been a few threads about it, even one showing how to open and clean it, as they make a noise when dirty.
