If a car is sold with disabled tax how do you get it changed back? Or should this have been done by the previous disabled owner?
you need to take the V5 to a local DVLA centre. where it takes 2minutes to get it changed. Though why the fook ya can't just do it online or at a post office. Is a mystery to me..
Reckon you can get the taxation class changed at the PO.
Got me ambulance changed from tax exempt at one.....took them a bit of head scratching but they got there in the end.
Cheers. So I'm guessing it shouldn't be used until this is sorted and the new keepers supplement wouldn't be enough for the dvla?
Have had to change 2 vehicles changed from Disabled to paying tax. both had to be done at local Licensing office.
Ok thanks, probably better to get the owner to change it over then.
Probably a daft question but does the v5 need to be sent off for the change? Would hold things up a little until it comes back.
Post offices do it now as DVLA centres are closing down
