Buying a TD5

I am thinking of swapping my P38 Range Rover for a Disco 11 TD5 and want to know if there's anything i need to look out for. I've got my eyes on a 52 plate ES manual with 103,000 on the clock and fsh. The owner says the only problem on it is the ABS/traction control light sometimes comes on. I think i could by it for around £6000. Anyone got any suggestions?

Check for oil in the loom/ecu

Get it 'plugged in' and find out what the ABS fault is.

As Andy Says, Could be a Cheap fix, could be Very costly...

Thank's, i'll check the ecu and abs out. Is there any truth in the injectors packing up around the 100,000m mark?

Not on mine

my defender TD5 is on 130k. According to the service history it's not had any injectors.
