Defender TD5 think 99 was first year of production

Did think it might be, but was not going to assume so.:p.

Have a look around or see if you can arrange a group buy, can save you some cash, plus it is worth looking at the Prepaid cards that have better exchange rates. I made a big saving doing the first two things when I got mine.

Cheers

Just seems a lot of money for something I will only use once. Did have a local enthusiast with one but he retired last year. Local guy I use doesnt have one. Anyone in west wales got one I could borrow for an hour?

TBH, I would suggest you ask this in the 90 /110 section rather than in the td5 section, you will probably get more answers.

Cheers

Only using it once may be a bit optimisitic.
Not sure, but I think the older nanocoms were supposed to be better for Td5 Defenders than the evolution, but the evolution does work.
Why not look around for a second hand one?

Lol, im always the optomist, never needed one for the last 16 years with this car but considering what ive spent on engine, wiring looms and new turbo perhaps its a small ask to shell out for one. Does the older one have a name?
