Buying a Land Rover

Thinking of buying a Land Rover from Walton motors in Surrey any advice please
Or has anyone had any positive or negative issues with this garage

take someone with you who knows what they are doing if you don't, that's goes for any car. Not that I do myself and I haven't a clue what I am looking at.

I bought a 110 from them around 18 years ago so it might not be relevant, it came with 12 months mot that it shouldn't have got, I wasn't that bothered as it was the truck I wanted and I was a lot younger and more laissez faire. I did think of taking it to one of those dvla inspection centres to see if it was roadworthy but got used to it and didn't bother.

took it to steve parkers, as my folks used to live quite close to his garage back then, for the next one (cost £1,500 to get it through), sold the truck around 4 years later and bitterly regretted it.

For the mileage that it had done the 12 months I had it and the stuff that was wrong the guy that stamped it the previous year must have been blind, ****ed or bribed, or all 3.
