Hey all,

way back in mists of time (2014) I bought a 110. It’s was a difficult beast and after about 4 months I sold it on to live a new life in the states after it’s clutch was so stiff I fractured my foot operating it (true story)

it probably speaks to the awesome nature of the Defender that I am once again trying to buy one after that initial experience.

my work means I need to be able to carry equipment in to a vast array of locations and a defender 90 in good condition seems the ideal solution.

I have about 8K I can spend and I’m hoping that just enough to get a 90 that will be solid and last for years to come if I put the maintenance work in.

I can’t post on the wanted page yet but have my eye on the sales thread and hopefully with the help of the experts (you guys) I will find something that will be far more successful this time round

hope you are all well out there in these strange times.

Nate

Good Luck buddy the price of 90s has significantly increased as I'm also looking as well. Around 7 90s in the UK on autotrader under 8k excluding pick ups. 3 years ago that would be more like 25. I've been considering them that long ha! Most buyers these days buy a 90 for its visuals (defo why I want one) so I dont see prices going anywhere but further north as I don't see anything cooler motor under 20k.

Loads for sale on ebay, 270 in total, and 51 under 8k.

90 loadbay is pretty small.

Are they all being sold by yan the landyman :)

At least 50% of ads on there for low price defenders are fraudsters I've enquired on at least 10 and 8 involved me paying cash and they woud drop it off so be very careful on there. Same applies to all these platforms I guess but nowhere worse than ebay for that.

Yan actually has some nice examples and seems very friendly on the phone. Have many people here bought from him in the past?
