Buying a 2a

I may have the option to buy a restored 2a on a G plate later in the year / next year. It's been restored quite a bit but will still need more work. Is now fitted with a canvas roof.
Any idea what kind of rough price I should be paying? I know it's not very specific but at the moment that's all I've got.

How long's a piece of string?

Any answer is going to be meaningless without pics and a lot of info from someone who has been under, over and inside it

Like BB Said, it is all down to the individual motor. Basket case £500, concours £20k upward, how can anyone give an accurate value without all of the info?? :welcome2:

Well if it still needs work it's not been fully restored yet. To me that puts it in project territory.

It's a 2a so period and desirable...

Price? Well that depends on what still needs to be done. Is is welding / structural / gearbox / engine? I'd say its worth between £1k and £2k depending ...assuming its only minor stuff needs doing.

Lots of welding has been done in the chassis, new swivel balls, engine running, basically it's a runner and drives but cosmetically it's going to need work.
