There's a D3 buyer's guide, which will have lots of relevant information in it.
Probably with the right kit, but it wouldn't be legal to carry out.

The reason that I'm asking about the odometer reading is that i´ve seen a number of vehicles for sale with the mileage and a very old date, as in this photo.

It's entirely possible that the date isn't correct, maybe the RTC wasn't correctly set after a battery replacement.
Once you have a few on the short list and have the reg numbers the MOT history on DVLA site is handy to check mileage for inconsistences along with other things that may get you attention, Like lack of TLC.
Changing mileage is not as easy as it used to be, as its stored in a few places and needs specialist expensive equip these days.

Edit just noticed you location so the DVLA is probably no use, but surely old MOT certs (whatever it is in Portugal) list mileage.

OK, thanks. I guess that the RTC then defaults to the date of manufacture or something similar........?

That's quite possible, as it does with loads of other electronic equipment, including many cars I've worked on over the years.
