Burning 90

Hi,

Several months ago I sold my old landy back to the dealer I got it from because it was too much work for me. it was a '86 90 200tdi with 140000 miles on the clock and was in a bit of a state. After a week of having it I turned it over one day and nothin happened so I tried again and a bellow of smoke came out the dash. Got the work done on warranty and turned out it was the main power loom for the glow plugs that had shorted and caused the fire that wrote of all electrics under the dash, the dash itself, Front windscreen, steering wheel, and drivers seat.

Anyway I sold that and now have a shiney new one but I got a phone call from the dealer, sayin that he got to his farm to find the landy a burnt out mess. He also said it looks like the fire had started behind the dash.

I asked for photo and he told me to have a look for myself so I'll get a photo soon...

Has anyone heard of this before?
