Another not so meaty beefy mechanical in subject, a bit wishy washy, but I want to know anyway:

I'm typing in 'bumpers' but it's not bringing up rear triangular things? My ladder is hollow tubing and protrudes the corner bumper things with an M laser cut in them, so they'll need to go and I'll need a bumper that protrudes further than the ladder, as my reversing has already bumped into things like trees and **** like that. Does anyone know what they're called, and will I need to take my towbar off? Cheers in advance if you can answer.

What about army style ‘bumperettes’?

Google ‘defender bumperettes’ and look at the images till you find ones you like, lots and lots of choice

These are using the same holes the ladders gone in but would've been great otherwise

If I can get flat plate versions these'd be perfect. The collies will cattle-grid their paws otherwise.

Mine are outboard of the tailgate area, in the same place as the bumperettes go, you could always bolt / weld a flat plate in place to stop the dogs catching themselves.

Cheers

Cheers everyone. I really want these (first pic) as they'll match my front one, but I don't think I can have them cos of where my ladder starts. If not it'll have to be second pic. Cheers

They look brill on yours. I think they're too modern for mine. I'm already getting worried that my additions as I go along are removing the classic utility look away from mine. But the earlier post is right. putting bumperette in google images is bringing loads up now :)

Shame as im sure I have a spare set of them somewhere I did see one of them a few weeks ago, the other one will
be in the abyss of the shed lol

Just noticed that the ones I'm taking off are 125 quid! Just shows you that the dear isn't best!
