i need to take end caps off rear bumper do i have to take the lot off dont tell you much in the book of words

Easy althouch I haven't done it for years, but its only a few bolts and I think a self tapping screw or two.

Yes you have to take off whole bumper, but it's only 2 bolts underneath from memory. Then the endcaps are held on with a couple of screws and a small nut. That is for a 200tdi anyway...

Same for a 300, screws into end caps can strip when taken out, plastic gets brittle, araldite will solve problem when re-assembling.
