Bulkhead removal

I am a bit stuck/confused as to what to do with the wiring for bulkhead removal. I've removed dash and labelled everything and now have a section of harness from fuse box running left towards drivers wing and right towards airbox. Do I pull all through into cab? (If so I can't work out how to deal with loom running down chassis to rear) or do I somehow disconnect from fuse board and pull through to bay. Thanks!!!

pull it through and battery lead can stay in place
 
As in pull through into bay and not cabin James? Hi Phil, ideally repair. She can afford my time as it's basically free but I think we are leaning towards yrm/froggats panels for repair. I'm happy enough to weld up bulkhead. Ideally she could do with a new chassis too but that's obviously costly. I'll be taking tub off and patching her up I think. Rear cross member looks new although what id describe as mid rear cross member is knackered

i remove bulkhead with the loom then strip,but yes pull through bulkhead to inner side as thats how its fitted you secure the loom above fuse box then feed loom out through the various locations,battery cable isnt secured to the bulkhead
 
Are these cables in the way? If you only have to top to weld & foot wells you can get away with Just disconnecting them & covering up.

Remember when you start taking tub off look for any extra spacers. This also applies to the bulkhead.
Make note of where they are so makes getting door gaps easier.
 
They are in the way and there's pigeon **** welding around the place that I need to rid. It all made sense pulling through to inside James apart from those two sets in the picture that run down the ns chassis leg - I had it all planned on pulling through then realised I couldn't. They hit a t junction on the bulkhead where it goes to fuse box.

Thanks both. I'll measure door apertures etc and take note of all spacings. Luckily I can lift the heavy stuff with the tractor. If only my project was in that barn too - I'd smash through it!
 
You unbolt the fuse box & push through into cab. You just have to push certain connectors throug the hole slowly & not all together. if your on about the black t junc it comes off. Think push pins or screws.
If you get the job done quicker do you get the barn space?

Shout if you need hand I can pop over to point. Busy from October to November.
I'm just making space for bulkhead/door change only been waiting 2 years:oops:
 
Cheers. I did mention to her about getting mine finished in there, hopefully it will become a possibility. The other benefit is I take my dog down there and he gets to run but also he's presence incase any unwanted are about.
