I have been chasing some leaks now that it is raining again in California and the rail channel under the hood along the bulk head seems to dump its water inside vs a clear diversion to the ground. If that channel was a tad longer, water would not drop between the clutch and brake pedal boxes or near the heater core on the other side..... I was getting water in around these seals and into the foot wells. When I get to a major rebuild, I will pull those out and replace their seals, but for now I have been sealing what I can and thinking about making a catch bin and hose off the end of the rain channel and diverting it to a tube and down to the ground.

Any thoughts on rain water channel extension or a catch basin / tube been tried out there?

Cheers! - John

The channel isn't the problem. LR didn't design it to cause leaks. It'll be leaking somehow around master cylinders or above that outside on window seals or somewhere else. It would have to be a huge amount of rain for the channel to cause that.
