hi all i have been looking to buy a defender and i have seen one that has me in 2 minds. it has a hole like a pound coin size on bulkhead just below window vents on passenger corner and bubbling that looks a bit bad where door hinges meet. would the bulkhead repair plates repair holes and side or once they got a hole is it time for new bulkhead

Repairable I'd say.. Depends how much time and money you want to spend, and how perfect you want your landy.. I reapaired mine no probs, sept we ran out of welding gas!

hi he is a pic of the rust if i can get the pic up

ye the rest looks fine has said there is a few repairs to the chassis and a small hole that needs a plate on it on chassis aswell

Look under the wheel arches at the bulkhead floor plates you may be surprised!
Also drivers side under the bonnet between the clutch master cylinder and the wing top.
