Yeah, got the same alternator here powering my battery setup....think its easier to switch over to the led lights.....just a damn shame they are expensive....although I did find a pair of led work lights for under a tenner....doubt they will light up much though...but they do seem to be coming down in price

hahaha I get that too :D

Its more fun driving round at night and pretending its midday

Ain't that the truth...or even better when an ignorant car comes the other way with their main beam on and doesn't dip, till you put yours on at them and they drive into the bushes blinded....

No bushes were harmed in any of these incidents...they all grew back

I've done that a few times with my old spotlights, cant wait to have a go with the new ones :D I might need to wire them all up to one switch so that I can flash them all at once. Currently each pair is on a separate switch and one set is on full beam too on a bi-wiring. So many cables in the engine bay though haha

Know that feeling with wires...

I finally got a new fuse box fitted for the second battery next to the original one, so when i sorted out the wiring i have switches on the lights to either have them off, constant on or on with the main beam. I have split the roof lights into 2 sets, outer and inner, so lots of wires....

Thats how mine are done switch wise, inner are on the old fog button, outer are on a switch and main beam and then the HID's are on a switch but I think I'd be better off having all 4 of the roof lights on the stalk so I'll make a second positive feed on a relay for them.

Might have another set to fit to the bullbar soon too as dads not sure about using those Hella's I got off of ebay for £10, so they then need wiring into the main and side beam if I do  more wires :flame:

ohhh more lights - you can't just tease - you need pics or its just all made up stories......

Just to add to my wire collection, I drilled each light and put in a 501 LED bulb to act as a side light ;)

Also got a couple of red ones and put them in my rear work lights, to light up as tail lights. They are also wired to either be on constant, off or on with reverse ;) Handy when someone is tailgating you to flick on the switch - they soon seem to back off :D

haha heres a pic then ;) eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace they're quite a lot bigger than they look, they're about 9 inches long

Hmmm I like this plan! I might have to copy you  I hates tailgaters but I've just bought a NATO hitch and I'm making an extended bracket to bring it out about 6 inches which should hopefully deter them :D

However I might put some ultra high power bulbs into the rear foglights and some LED's into the reverse lights :scratching_chin:

Very nice - they would sit on my rack just right.....

don't forget with the extra 10 meters or so wiring that you will need ;)

haha well I was gonna put them on the bullbar and use the old wiring that was on there from the Cibies I used to have, then it just needs extending by about a foot. Well that plus another lot for the side lights but hopefully less than 10m, theres so much wiring cable tied/taped up in the engine bay

You could always buy them off me to stop me ;)

nah, a man needs lights - so couldn't deprive you of that ;)

Still not sure what sort of lights I want on mine yet - whether I will just use the ones on my light bar - or whether I am going up to 6 lights.....:scratching_chin:

Back to business, as it was a nice morning, got the rack out for a better pic to tease you guys......

Going to get more steel today as would like a few more crossmembers so its easier to put smaller items on it, and walk on it....
