Series 3 Building a chassis from scratch

Hi All,
I'm the proud (or not so proud) owner of a chassis that needs lots of work, As an ex sheet metal worker / plater I'm seriously considering fabricating a new one.
The fabrication part seems relatively straight forward, but I am looking for a supplier of the weld-in bushes, weld-in damper tubes and of course the steering relay tube.
Is anyone supplying these or are they just bespoke items?

Before the floodgates open, I cannot effort £2500 for a new Galvanized chassis hence the question.

I did see a vid on ntube of someone making one from scratch & they built a jig first then done
chassis templates ect, mammoth task id say be cheaper to buy another chassis refurb & fit.

I did see this 2a chassis earlier....food for thought.

There is other internal strengtheners in the chassis to be considered.
Was a guy selling a plate kit for building your own a few years back.

I've looked and that kit was for sale in 2014 but nothing since. The market was for shipping to customers overseas who would then do the welding but I don't think it was a success.
It may be possible t get digitised plans for laser cutting but there's a lot of internal parts - stiffeners etc. Bits like the relay tube could be bought as repair sections.
Personally if my fab skills were up to it I would rebuild the original chassis. Selling (or insuring) a vehicle with a "rebuilt original" chassis is a whole world different to one with an "I made it myself" chassis.
Maybe it an age thing but I look at things like this and think "can I face the paperwork if this goes pear-shaped?"

Have to say I would be thinking along similar lines. If I had the welding skill to build a chassis from scratch I wouldn't be bothering as I would have the fabricating skill to rebuild the original chassis no matter how poor a shape it may be in.

I remember reading an article years ago where some guy had a fab firm and he made one out of stainless steel, huge job Iirc.

Could you not keep the original holes, and then just say you replaced the metal around the holes
