I know. Diesel. Yes I should know better but Speedo is away having pixel fix and new fuel guage. (yes I tried cheap way) but to be fair wasn't too dear to get fixed.

Filled her up and went my merry way for a few days using male intuition and obd Speedo from torque app etc.

1/4 mile from home petrol station after some heavier traffic to normal and silence as it ran bone dry.

No worries. Walk to petrol station get a can and fill her up. Cycle ignition to help the pumps bleed through the air but nope. Just spinning til eventually getting slow n flattening the pixie box (battery)

Called the old man and brother in then after a short tow off the motorway from the traffic police bless em

Boosted battery etc but still only spitting fuel at the filter. So off to garage another 5litres. Still no joy same as. Bugger. Best check it all out fuses filter pipes pumps etc.

Stripped rear seats out and checked fuel pump direct all ok there then looked in the fuel guage (NS hole) and tank inside was as good as dry ?

Yet another trip for 3rd Jerry can of fuel. (need a 20l stepping in ) filled 3 litres into tank direct on NS then rest in the filler pipe

2/3 ignition cycles and pressure was up and boom fired up and off we went to nearest fuel station for a 'substantial' fill up (4th visit)

Word to wise if you ever run dry (I never have before but accept no fuel guage etc didn't help but my fault there for not topping up)

Fill at least 15L in it from dry

When my newly fixed Speedo arrives tomorrow I doubt it will ever see below 1/2 a tank ever again ☺️☺️☺️
