Buckle for rear seat belt replacement

I've broken the rear seat belt buckle on the double seat, probably by pushing heavy loads over the back seat, and although I have a workshop manual; there is no mention of how to replace it. Surprisingly it looks as though the buckle is fitted to the seat, but I may be wrong. Its the buckle behind the drivers seat (UK car). Any advice?
