This does actually work. Try it yourself and see. It works on the basis of filling yer fool tank with magical pebbles which peeps expect to reactict with the fool, but don't. What they're actually doing is filling the space in the fool tank so there int as much spare as before, therefore reducing the cost to fill up as yer can't get the same anount of fool in as before. The overall tank size doesn't change so yer can still use it to calculate fool economy regardless of the pebble content. The more pebbles you put in the higher the fool saving.
Thanks for the offer but I have enough already. I only ever run ma heap at 20% peddles int tank as efficiencies of above 20% are unobtainable for petrol engines. The rule of thumb is not to go above the vat rate of the fool, when calibrating efficiency. Hence 20% pebble content is the upper limit.Do ya wanna buy some pebbles Hippo, seeing as it's you. Maximum efficiency for diesel is 40% but it's not as straight forward as petrol. For example red diesel can't be made more efficient as peddles don't mix with vat free fool. Hence the reason why red diesel can't be made more efficient with pebbles. Normal diesel with a vat content of 20% can take up to 20% peddles, gaining the same percentage efficiency as the percentage of pebbles. To obtain the maximum 40% diesel efficiency you need to burn all the peddble'd diesel well before claiming back the vat content. That way you bank the efficiency (20% pebbles) to ensure you don't loose it when claiming back the vat content (also 20%) on the fool. Hence the 40% saving (20% pebbles + 20% vat). A non business user can't claim back vat on diesel so they can only benefit from a maximum efficiency of 20% pebbles. Unfortunately the 40% rule doesn't apply to petrol regardless of being able to claim back the vat.

How are you sure nothing has changed? Driving style? Accepted standard would be blind testing, ie the driver does not know whether the device has been fitted!
